Chemicals
Many brands fill their products with artificial ingredients that have been linked to unwanted side effects. Be especially cautious of ingredients such as parabens, paraffin, phthalates, phytoestrogens, fluoride, formaldehyde, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), and heavy metals. Industrially made
Industrially made seed oils are widely used in both food and skincare products. These oils are extracted using high heat and harsh chemicals, which damage their natural structure. The result is an unstable oil filled with harmful compounds such as free radicals and trans fats—substances that can penetrate the skin and disrupt its natural balance.
GMO
